Description

This Direct Burial Splice Connector electrically connects two or more pre-stripped copper wires. It is ideal for splicing wires and cables in irrigation. The splice connector can be installed above or below ground, inside a valve box or buried next to a valve-in-head sprinkler or light fixture.

  • Smaller profile DBO/B-6 Series connectors are used when a larger size range of wires is not needed.

  • Not recommended for submersible applications.
  • Each kit includes a 3M Performance Plus quick biting wire connector O/B+ or R/Y+ and a high impact, UV resistant polypropylene tube prefilled with moisture-resistant grease.
  • The gel filled tube includes a lid that compresses the wire insulation when closed. This applies pressure, known as “strain relief” that keeps the connection inside the tube when the wires are pulled-upon. The connector tube includes channels for three sets of wires.
